A fine Taxidermy Cased Partridge, 20th Century

£250.00

A 20th Century Taxidermy English Partridge.

A Cased Grey or English Partridge (Perdix Perdix), late 20th century, by John Burton, Natural Craft Taxidermy, Ebrington, Gloucester.

This is a very high quality full mount adult English Partridge its head turning slightly to the right, stood amidst natural grasses, and standing on naturalistic soil and moss covered groundwork.  The enclosure is a lead-framed five-glass table display case, 33cm by 20.5cm by 35cm, taxidermist’s full paper trade labels to interior rear left and to underside.

This display is of such good quality, and is created in an understated naturalistic style.  The glass case is leaded to the edges, reminiscent of the art deco, but clean and modern.  If y0u admire taxidermy, but are cautious of  19th century examples,  this is a superb and issue free example.
