A Bronze figure modelled as a woman in neoclassical dress seated upon a column, H45cm (1870)

A 19th century patinated bronze figure of a woman
£210.00
Bronze figure modelled as a woman in neoclassical dress seated upon a column, possibly after Joseph Charles De Blezer(1828-1884) who created a popular sculpture called Amour au papillon in 1864.
This is not a copy of that sculpture, but a similar treatment of the same subject. The colour is beautiful and the patination superb.
Not of first casting but good quality, no damage, large and weighty, around 8 kg.
