A hand thrown vintage vase 1970. Of oblong form with an arched top, supporting a round lipped neck. Brown glazed, with a raised oblong stripe pattern in two parts one above the other, front and back. Brutalist school 1970 no visible signature or stamp.

This hand made Vase is a large, vibrant and expressive statement piece. It is a singular and I suspect, unique sculpture, made with flair and imagination. A statement of it’s time, it will look in a modern home, lending that mid twentieth century appeal.
There are no chips or cracks, the base is thin in manufacture with a hole, and this is covered with baize. The body and neck are thick, and the whole piece very sturdy.
